Rapper Kwaw Kese has revealed that he did not submit any of his songs for the 2017 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

He made this revelation on Hitz FM on Monday (Feb., 13).

The "Ataa Yi" hitmaker said: "I have forgotten about VGMA. I am not submitting any music for an award. Sometimes you submit the work and the results don’t come out good. I am thinking about making lots of money to take care of my family and brand.
"If VGMA gives you the recognition and you don’t work your way to the top, you will not make money…if you don’t work yourself up, forget it. I’m all about money now so I can pay the fees of my kids."
