Rapper Mac Miller is being sued by Aquarian Dream a 1970's funk band. The group claims the rapper lifted a part of one their songs called 'Yesterday (Was So Nice Today)' for his mixtape .

Aquarian Dream singer Jacques Burvick who brought the lawsuit forward claims that Mac Miller's camp was aware of the copyright infringement. He also said Mac Miller and contacted the legendary band to approve a clearance to be used in the song.

The group now seeks $150,000 in damages, citing more than 700,000 downloads of the mixtape.
