Duncan Williams, who is the chairman of the fundraising committee for the cathedral, made the revelation after he held a discussion with the former president.

He also held a similar discussion with former President Jerry John Rawlings who also raised concerns about the project despite approving it.

“They’ve all given us their blessings and they’ve brought up their concerns and issues they think we should address and look at.

“Whatever concerns they and the public have has come to our attention and we are addressing them and very soon our secretariat will address all these issues,” Duncan Williams told Joy FM.

The visit by the Archbishop was to get the support of the two former presidents for the construction of the cathedral following growing public disapproval of it.

The idea of demolishing houses of judges to make away for the cathedral has drawn resentment from the public who are accusing the government of misplaced priorities.
