Own up and seek help on the economy - Mahama advises gov't

<a id="ba431b3d-97a5-403a-b1af-d83f9958c0d4" href="https://www.pulse.com.gh/news/business/cedi-will-stabilise-in-2-weeks-finance-minister-assures-ghanaians/ntdg8hz">Former President John Dramani Mahama</a> has advised the NPP-led government to own up to their failings on the economy and seek for help.

He said the recent depreciation of the cedi against the major currencies shows that the government is hapless.

In a post on Facebook, the NDC leader urged the government to organise a broad stakeholder consultations to find solutions to the problem just like what he did in 2014.

"There are times when a leader or a party must admit that they do not have all the answers to the challenges facing the economy or a particular sector", he wrote.
