President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has paid a day's official visit to the United Arab Emirates at the invitation of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces.

According to a statement from the Presidency, the visit was to deepen ties co-operation and the bonds of friendship that exist between our two nations.

The statement also confirmed that five (5) co-operation agreements were signed between Ghana and the UAE.
