President Akufo-Addo says he's looking forward to 2019 with a "sense of hope and optimism"

According to him, "our nation is set on the right path" and that "next year promises to be a good one."

Cataloging what he says are the 'modest achievements of his government' which is there for everyone to see, the president urged Ghanaians to join hands with his government "in building a progressive and prosperous Ghana we all want."

The president also urged people to avoid doing anything that will put their lives and that of their love ones in danger.
