On Saturday night, some supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) stormed the studios of United Television (UTV) during the live broadcast of "United Showbiz".

According to the group, they were searching for Kwame A Plus because they are dissatisfied with how the regular pundit on the show and others use the platform to defame the ruling NPP government led by Nana Addo and Dr Bawumia.

Sharing her thoughts on the incident, Vim Lady who also works with the Abeka-based media house expressed her doubts about the invaders' ability to breach the studio's security without inside assistance.

According to the outspoken TV presenter, considering the location of the UTV studio and the level of security in place, it would be difficult for outsiders to access the premises without the help of someone from within.

She took to Facebook on October 9, 2023, to share her opinion on the matter. She wrote, "Where the UTV studio is and the security inside, there is no way the NPP boys could enter without an Insider. Accomplice Allah!"

In a swift response, The Ghana police later announced the arrest of 16 individuals in connection with the attack.
