Ghana has embarked on a “Year of Return” campaign that calls on people with African descent to visit the continent this year as the world marks 400 years ever since slavery ended.

In this pursuit, pulse.com.gh has reached out to some Ghanaians on the streets of Accra who told us their favourite globally recognized musicians they want to see in Ghana for the "Year of Return".

A fan says after listening to Beyonce’s song with Shatta Wale, he fell in love with the song and wants to see her perform it with Shatta Wale in Ghana.

Jay Z is Beyonce’s husband. A rap music lover tells us that he would love to see the rapper in Ghana because he wants the billionaire to come and inspire the Ghanaian youth.

According to a fan, every young girl loves the ‘Bodak Yellow” rapper, therefore, she with her colleagues will love to see Cardi B in Ghana.

The Canadian pop star has millions of fans across the world including Ghana. As such the Ghanaian “beliebers” wants to see the star in town. Justin got married to Hailey some few weeks ago.

Considered as the Queen rap, the newly married rapper has fans in Ghana who dying to see her in town soon.

Chris Brown has been in Ghana before but a fan tells pulse.com.gh that he would love to see him again because of the love he has for him.

Rihanna is the richest female musician, with her net worth hovering around 600m. Bad Girl Riri, as also called has diehard fans in Ghana who can’t wait to see her around.
