Former HIV/AIDS ambassador to receive psychiatric treatment after suicide attempt

However, a close pal of Dzidzor revealed to Zylofon 102.1 FM that after series of counselling, she has agreed to mental treatment.

If you could recall, Dzidzor publicly announced that she lied about her HIV/AIDS status for years and had never tested positive for the disease before working with the Ghana AIDS commission as an HIV/AIDS ambassador.
Following her revelation, Ghanaians have bashed her for pretence and allegedly duping the commission of funds.
Joyce Dzidzor Mensah says her family have suffered brutal stigmatization from the public and that influenced her decision to commit suicide.
