Twitter reacts to Akwaboah's fan army name

The reason why his fans didn't take the name for granted was the fact that, the word "Aboa" in the Akan dialect means "Animal" so they felt insulted.

Some of the top Ghanaian fan army include "Opanka Army" for Opanka, "R2Bees Nation" for R2bees, "SarkNation" for Sarkodie, "Shatta Movement 4 Life/Family" for Shatta Wale and "Gingam" for Efya.

The latest act to establish a fan army is SarkCess Music's new signee, Akwabaoh but he didn't go scot-free after he announced the official fan army name on Twitter yesterday, April 4.

After announcing that his fan army will be called "AboaNation", social media fumed and he was bashed for calling his fan army such name.
