Speaking to the press on the essence of this charity activity, the management team of the high-flying rapper said it is show of appreciation to the Zongo community for the love shown to Rayoe’s “Miracle Road” video.

Miracle Road is close to getting 500,000 views on Youtube and this show of support is to thank the Zongo community for the push it has given the song. Also, the music video was shot in some of the Zongo communities in Accra,” his management said.

Considered as a vigorous exercise, this is the fifth year since a group of Muslim youth in Fadama, Accra, came together and started this walk, which had become an annual activity.

The health walk started from Rawlings Park in Accra, and saw men, women, children and Muslim students from second cycle and tertiary institutions jog, walk and dance to local cultural songs of praise.

Rayoe, though based in America, takes pride as a Dagomba boy who hails from a middle-class Ghanaian family of religious and well-educated parents. His passion for music and astronomic ambitions took him on a unique path that sets him apart from most of his peers.
