You want to know our definition of fun? Silly String. And no, we don't mean the kind you buy from Party City (or wherever one buys Silly String); we mean the kind that comes out of a big, juicy steatocystoma. Happy Friday, y'all.
Dr. Pimple Popper Squeezes 'Silly String' From a Steatocystoma in Her New Instagram Video
In a new Instagram video posted Friday, Dr. Sandra Lee, MDaka Dr. Pimple Poppertreats a patient with a steatocystoma. When she pops it, the contents spiral out like Silly String. Steatocystomas are filled with sebum, the substance that lubricates our skin and hair.
In a new Instagram video posted Friday, Dr. Sandra Lee, MDbetter known as the famous Dr. Pimple Popperpops a patient big ol' steatocystoma. "How bout a little #steatocystoma SILLY STRING on a FRIDAY??" Lee wrote in the caption, because no one is more excited about gnarly, pus-filled steatocystomas than Dr. Pimple Popper herself.
You may remember steatocystomas from the season three premiere of Lee's show on TLC . These bumps are filled with sebum, which is the substance that lubricates our skin and hair. Lee often uses the word "buttery" to describe steatocystomas , because, well, that's exactly what the sebum looks like when it comes out!
When Lee pops the steatocystoma in her newest video, it unleashes a long, skinny string of sebumhence the Silly String caption. It's truly incredibly how much gunk was hiding inside there! Our only complaint is that the video ends before we can see Lee move on to the other steatocystoma that appears to be lurking on the patient's skin.
