According to reports in the media, the former President also openly registered as a member of the movement.

Dismissing the launching, Abdullahi described it as a non-event, adding that APC is too busy to consider the movement.

He said “How many months to the election? At the function, how many governors did you see there? How many senators did you see there? How many House of Representatives’ members did you see there?

“When a part of the PDP left for the APC in 2014, how many governors were there? At least five governors were there. How many senators? We have more than 40 senators.

“With due respect, let them continue to do what they are doing. We are busy. They are not even a political party. If they are not a political party, how can they be a threat to us? Civil society organization can’t contest election in Nigeria.”

OBJ said this in Ogun state after the launching of the Coalition for Nigeria Movement.
