Man shot dead at mining site in Eastern region

A 25-year-old man has been shot dead at a mining site in Akyem Adukrom near Kibi in the Eastern region.

The man, identified as Foster Odame, was mining when he was gunned down.

Meanwhile, the suspect has been identified as Evans Kojo and said to be currently on the run.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue .

It is not clear why the deceased was shot.
