My wife and children are suffering - Man goes naked over locked-up cash

An aggrieved customer of a savings and loans company has embarked on a naked demonstration in connection with the financial institution's refusal to allow him to make withdrawals.

The man who protested naked in the banking hall in Accra said the refusal of the savings and loans company to allow him to withdraw deposits has affected his family.

He said "This is my ninth investment with them. My branch in Kaneshie or Dzorwulu has not been able to give me a time line to come for my lock-up investment, all they say is: 'We don’t have money'.

"My wife and children are suffering. My children are home because I cannot afford to pay their fees. I've invested for 91 days for eight times; this is the ninth time and they don’t want to give me my money.

"I don't care if this video goes viral. I did the same thing at First Allied Savings and Loans, Tudu branch in October 2018, before they gave me my money in less than 30 minutes. I'm on a naked demonstration so that they will give me my money."
