Two of Ghana’s finest boxers, Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe and George ‘Red Tiger’ Ashie will face-off at the Bukom Arena as part of the programme line-up for Floyd Mayweather’s visit to the country.

The legendary American boxer will arrive in Ghana for a two-day tour which starts from June 15 to 16.

The undefeated boxer will visit a host of places, including paying a courtesy call on the Greater Accra House of Chiefs, as well as a date with Otumfour Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace.

The former super featherweight and lightweight champion will also witness a boxing bout between Tagoe and Ashie at the Bukom Boxing Arena as part of the arrangements made for his visit.

The two boxers are known to be sworn-rivals, with Tagoe emerging victorious in their last fight, amid controversial circumstances.


However, with pair set to clash once again in an exhibition bout, both have laid down the gauntlet.
