A beneficiary of Education Minister's Engineering Scholarship sends touching birthday message

A beneficiary of the Minister of Education, Dr. <a href="https://www.pulse.com.gh/news/local/dr-yaw-adutwum-fulfils-promise-of-funding-30-engineering-students-in-his-constituency/ffpm3fg">Yaw Osei Adutwum</a>, who granted full self-sponsored scholarships to 30 young people in his constituency to pursue Engineering programmes at the University of Mines and Technology (UMAT) in Tarkwa, has extended a touching birthday message to him.

The student, who is currently studying at the University of Mines and Technology appreciated Adutwum and expressed how precious and useful the scholarship programme is to him.

This is in line with Dr. Adutwum's pledge in December 2020 after he won unanimously in the parliamentary polls.

The Minister who doubles as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosomtwe said: "My office has taken care of admission, tuition and accommodation of these 30 fresh students until they complete their various courses.

"This feat is part of (an already started) strategies and processes for the fulfillment of one of my political resolutions: to get, at least, 100 engineers and doctors each from my constituency by the time I leave office as MP."
