Head pastor of the Glorious Word and Power Ministries International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, has taken a swipe at his fellow men of God who criticised him over his ‘death prophecies’.

The pastor has come under the spotlight after he prophesied the death of some prominent persons in the country, including former president John Mahama, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the National Chief Imam.

This led to some angry youth taking the law into their own hands by storming Owusu Bempah’s church at Odorkor to vandalise properties.

Also, the pastor was criticised by some of his colleagues, with the immediate-past General Secretary of the Christian Council of Ghana, Rev Dr Kwabena Opuni-Frimpong, the Apostle General of the Royalhouse Chapel International, Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah and Bishop Charles Agyin Asare, leading the charge.

But delivering a sermon on Sunday themed ‘Does the Prophetic Still Exists', Owusu Bempah took the opportunity to hit back at his critics.

He questioned why his critics never criticised prophets in the bible who prophesied about death and other dooms.

He mentioned the likes of Agabus, Isaiah and Moses as prophets who prophesied about death in the Bible.

According to him, God only uses him as a vessel to deliver such messages to Ghana as he has no control over such prophecies.

He cautioned the public against attacking, saying any attack on a man of God is an attack on God himself.

This comes after Owusu Bempah, through his church’s spokesperson, said he will neither apologize nor retract the death prophecies he made.
