Watch Dr. Pimple Popper Squeeze Out a 'Sweet and Sour Chicken' Lipoma
This lipoma removal is a little sweet and a little sour. In a new YouTube video, Dr. Pimple Popper aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD removes an arm lipoma resembling a piece of sweet and sour chicken. And the take-out removal is probably the cleanest pop youve ever seen from this doc.
The famous derm named the growth the hula lipoma, as the patient wanted the growth removed before a hula dancing performance where it would otherwise be noticeable. After making a small incision with some surgical tools, Dr. Lee is able to cleanly pop the lipoma out of the womans arm. For those who often watch Dr. Pimple Poppers videos, the pop is probably one of the easiest lipoma removals youve ever seen.
Dr. Lee refers to the growth as a big flea and a caterpillar in the video, which is an interesting way of looking at it. Once fan commented that the growth looks like "sweet and sour chicken," which is more accurate of a description.
The brave patient actually holds the growth with ungloved hands at the end of the clip, causing her to exclaim, Oh, ew! Thats weird! But she gets comfortable pretty quick, proceeding to jiggle the lipoma between her manicured fingers.
A lipoma is a benign tumor made up of fat tissue, and the growth is actually most commonly found in men. The growths are usually painless and commonly grow on the arms, back, and legs.
I like that the doctor allows you to see and touch what she gets out, one fan commented on the video. Its closure. This thing was a part of you and cut out of you. Its a chance to say goodbye to it. Now thats oddly sentimental.
