Authorities are investigating the mysterious death of Gifty Kyere, a 28-year-old final-year student at the Sunyani Nursing and Midwifery Training College, whose lifeless body was discovered in her boyfriend’s home in Jinijini, Berekum.

Pastor Kyere Jonathan, Gifty’s father and a senior cleric at Jinijini’s Agape Evangelical Church, revealed that his daughter had left home just a day before the tragedy after receiving her school fees and supplies.
He expressed profound dismay upon learning she had visited her boyfriend’s residence instead.

The prime suspect, 23-year-old Edmond Ayomah, remains at large but has reportedly communicated through intermediaries his intention to surrender to authorities.

However, investigative sources have disputed this claim.
