Ghanaian afro-dancehall star Stonebwoy has described highlife star Bisa Kdei’s rendition of his hit song, “Sobolo”, as ‘powerful’.

Aside from praising Bisa Kdei’s version, Stonebwoy also asked if he did well with his Twi accent on the original song and promised to send him the full lyrics.
“This is Powerful... I hope I tried with the Twi lol... I’ll send u full lyrics,” Stonebwoy, who is currently in London for a business trip, described Bisa Kdei’s rendition which is nearly one minute.
The highlife song which got its inspiration from late Dr Paa Bobo’s hit song “Osobro Kyee” is one of the hottest songs which drove music lovers crazy in 2020.

The song won the “Highlife Song of the Year” at the just ended 3Music Awards 2020.
Stonebwoy beat Akwaboah’s “Gangsta Lovin” and “Posti Me”, Kofi Kinaata’s “Behind The Scenes”, Kumi Guitar’s “Sex”, Sista Afia’s “Party” featuring Fameye, King Jerry’s “Sankofa” and Lord Paper’s “Asabone” featuring Bosom P-Yung to pick the accolade.
