After a case management conference, the court said the trial will start on April 29.

The accused, who is a final year student of the Nungua Kroma Two Junior High School allegedly brought thugs to assault the teacher over homework.

The prosecution told the Court that the accused (name withheld) refused to do his homework and after he was punished, he dashed home to call 15 other young men who allegedly stormed the school in a Sprinter bus and attacked the teacher, inflicting wounds on his face.

They beat up him severely, leaving the teacher with a facial wound.

Moses Onyameasem (the teacher) was rescued by his colleagues and rushed to the LEKMA Hospital where his wounds were stitched and later discharged.

As if that was not unruly enough, the mother of the student also reportedly invaded the school and rained insults on the teacher who was already in hospital receiving treatment.
