Ghana Premier League side Hearts of Oak have decided to hand a week break to the playing body after the club competed in the just ended G6 Tournament.

The tournament ended last Sunday at the Baba Yara Sport Stadium. The Phobians failed to lift the trophy at stake after losing via 3-4 on penalties after 1-1 in regulation.


A statement with the respect to the club’s one-week break reads:

” has handed the playing body a one-week break from training starting today, 5th December, 2016.

“Team Hearts have been given a week off after finishing second in the just ended GHALCA SIX tournament.

“The team will return to training on Monday, 12th December, 2016 to begin full preparation for the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season.”
