Kwesi Nyantaky makes first public appearance since Anas Number 12 exposé(Photo)

Former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kwesi Nyantakyi was spotted at a social gathering for the first time since the Anas Number 12 documentary in 2018.

Nyantakyi was a guest to the 80th birthday anniversary of Togbega Delume VII. Togbega Delume, the paramount chief of the Ve Traditional Area in the Afadzato South district in the Volta region over the weekend.

The former GFA boss posed for a photo with Yayra Klu, a granddaughter of Togbega Delume. Kwesi Nyantakyi who used to keep short beards has now started growing it.

Nyantakyi's appearance at the Togbega Delume's birthday happens to be his first public appearance to be seen on social media since Anas Aremeyaw Anas' Number 12 documentary.

Kwesi Nyantakyi who was the President of the Ghana Football Association was caught on camera receiving monies suspected to be a bribe in a documentary by Anas Aremeyaw Anas Tiger Eye P1 called Number 12.

Nyantakyi, afterwards resigned as President of the GFA and relinquished his positions as 1st Vice President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), President of WAFU Zone B and as a member of the Executive Council of both CAF and FIFA.

The world football governing body slapped a lifetime ban on Nyantakyi for breaching its code of ethics.

He sold his club Wa All Stars to new owners who have renamed it Legon Cities and relocated it from Wa to Accra.

News emerged that Kwesi Nyantakyi’s lifetime ban has been reduced to 12 years by the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
