The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William presented the award at the Buckingham Palace in a glamourous event attended by her parents and husband, David Beckham.

The latter is already a recipient  of the recognition having received the honour in the year 2003 for his exceptional football career and charitable act.

Speaking in excitement after accepting the OBE, the mother of four said: "It was an absolute pleasure to be at Buckingham Palace today. I'm proud to be British, honoured and humbled to receive my OBE from the Duke of Cambridge.

"If you dream big and work hard you can accomplish great things.

"I'm so happy to share this very special occasion with my parents and husband; without their love and support, none of this would be possible," the BBC News reported.

The investiture ceremony is truly deserving for the 'Out of your mind' singer who has managed an excellent career as first a singer, fashionista, model and businesswoman.
