Some recruits of the Nation Builders Corps, (NaBCo) under the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) have blamed their superiors of physical assault.

The recruits posted to the Customs Division who will be engaged for three years said they are being beaten and slapped at training grounds.

Graduates under this module will augment the work of the nation's revenue collection institutions.

They will be used to provide minimal technology solution to generate the requisite revenue for the development of Ghana. Most of the employees under this module will be based with the GRA.

One of the recruits who spoke on condition on anonymity to Accra-based Class FM said "It is a para-military training and the way they are treating us, it's as if we are in the academy. When we complain, they tell us other organisations are there and we could have applied for others, but we chose to come to Customs, so, they will treat us like how they treat their recruits.
