Jason Hatfield wanted a very permanent tribute to transgender Caitlyn and decided this was the best way to do it
Like many, Jason Hatfield from North Carolina, USA, felt inspired by the coming out image of former Olympian, Caitlyn Jenner, 65, on the June cover of Vanity Fair Magazine.
So much so however, that he decide to commemorate it permanently with an inking of the star, formerly known as Bruce, on his left forearm.
"Caitlyn Jenner's been so brave," Mr Hatfield, who is gay, told NBC News affiliate WXII.
"As an athlete and everything that was done before she came out, she was incredible. And now she's a thousand times the role model a Kardashian is!"
He describes the taft, which took four hours to complete, as "my tribute not only to the transsexual community and the LGBT [lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender] community and my personal friends, but also their bravery as well."
