Ghanaian musician, Daddy Lumba’s look alike, Kwame Anokye says the ace musician is a spirit.
Kwame Anokye popularly called Daddy Lumba Jnr says "The Lumba spirit is in me and I worship him. The spirit of Lumba makes me talk like Daddy Lumba, I never learned to speak with him or imitate him. Sometimes, I dream about his songs even before he launches it".

Narrating how he chose the name Daddy Lumba, Anokye said, “It all started in 1997, I was a fan of Lumba and used to sing most of his songs. People started calling me Daddy Lumba. I later joined Daddy Lumba fun club at Asafo, Kumasi. I was the only junior in the group. One day we performed at Cultural Center, Kumasi where I met the late mother of Daddy Lumba, Maame Ama Saa. She told me I looked just like Daddy Lumba in his youthful days and asked me to move from my stepmother’s house to stay with her.
During all those times, I was singing Lumba songs and the spirit came inside me when I move to Accra.
The Lumba spirit came to possess me, the Lumba spirit is everywhere; especially when I am talking about him. I see him. Daddy Lumba as my mini god on earth. The Lumba spirit is in me and I worship him. The spirit of Lumba makes me talk like Daddy Lumba, I never learned to speak with him or imitate him. Sometimes, I dream about his songs even before he launches it.”.
In a interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay show, Daddy Lumba Jnr added that his biological always complains that he didn’t inherit any traits from him neither does he acts like him.
The 32-year-old singer added that his father suspects his mother cheated on him with Daddy Lumba because they look too identical.
