Olamide who released his fifth album 'Eyan Mayweather' on November 23, 2015, just announced that his father is dead.

The YBNL boss revealed the sad news via his Instagram a few minutes ago (November 26). He shared a black picture on his account.
Olamide prayed for his father and wrote a farewell message to him also.

"O God, who hast commanded us to honor our father and our mother; in Thy mercy have pity on the soul of my father, and forgive his trespasses; and make me to see him again in the joy of everlasting brightness. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Rest well Dad.. Forever in my heart" he wrote.
On his '' album released in 2014, Olamide wrote about his father getting shot by armed robbers on the track '1999'. He also raps about his father on his popular song 'Anifowose'.
