On Monday several local media outlets reported that the club risks losing its coach, Frank Nuttal, after failing to pay him, as well as his entire backroom staff, since February.

Initially there were reports that the playing body was also owed some bonuses, however, the club moved quickly to pay them after the matter blew up in the media.

And although none of the current technical team members has come out to speak publicly, Hearts of Oak PRO Kwame Opare Addo has confirmed that the club indeed owes Frank Nuttal and his backroom staff.

According to him, the management of the Phobians are working around the clock to have the situation resolved.

“Let me admit that salaries have not been paid, but management is still working on it,” Opare Addo is quoted as saying by Citifmonline.com.

“We are taking care of it, and we always want to make sure that we are on top of any issue bothering our personnel, so we are working on resolving it.”

This is not the first time that the club has been fazed with such issues, with ex-coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi encountering same problems during his time at the club.
